There are several steps involved in getting an OSP licence. The entity must first be registered in accordance with the Companies Act of 2013/1956. The authorised signatory shall be specified and the Certificate of Incorporation shall be in effect. The Authorized Signatory must sign a note outlining the nature of their business after obtaining the licence. A director, company secretary, or public notary must certify this paper. The organisation must submit its Annual Return after obtaining an OSP License within six months of the end of its fiscal year. Up to 20 years are allowed for licence validity.

The applicant must submit an annual report to the DOT after the application procedure is finished. The activities the company has engaged in and the organization’s present status must be disclosed in the return. Within six months of the fiscal year’s end, the return must be delivered to the Department of Telecommunication. The OSP License is a requirement of the law and should not be ignored. You must ensure that you have all the necessary documentation and are trouble-free when renewing your OSP License.

Multiple sites may submit applications for the OSP License. You may apply for an OSP licence for a specific site if you operate a call centre in more than one place. However, in addition to an application from the other location, you must send a copy of your original registration to the ROC. You need to purchase a TERM cell in order to register it without an OSP licence. Your application will then be approved by the ROC.
